Aracos, keep in mind Carolina has to play 6 more division games, Seattle 4.

Granted, The Panthers are very good but they still have a longer road through their division then the Seahawks have.

Well...anyone going to watch the Detroit Lions this thursday? They play the Atlanta Falcons. This is tradition here in Michigan to watch our heart breakers the Lions on this blessed day. Even though the Lions haven't won a title since like 1957....they usually have a great game on Thanksgiving.

You have to remember in the SB they played against Carolina, Vinatieri missed a 31 yarder (it was a decent snap) and he got another 30+ yard kick blocked, both in the 1st half. So they could have been further ahead. I don't think he's the best kicker in the league at the moment coz it varies every season, but he is very clutch.

I'm not a Pats fan but you have to hand it to them after they've won 2 SBs in a row even with injuries. They're really missing Harrison this year though. I like how the coaching staff managed to run their defense last year in spite of injuries but it looks like this year it's a case of one too many.

I love watching football. It's good, clean entertainment, for the most part anyway.

I'm going to try to annoy all the Pats fans here with one statement.... It was a fumble! (I'm half joking. Please don't start up that debate again)

Dude, just becuz a team isnt undefeated or few games lost dont mean they are done. If it does mean that, all the teams like the packers would of given up by now, which they havent and beat Atlanta last week.

im sorry but i strongly dislike the patriots seeing as they.... in my opinion...... are not very good on defense...... i mean look at last Super bowl....... it was close almost the whole way..... and then it was won by a friggin field goal....... the way i see it there was 1 thing that led to the patriots victory........ T.O.s injury........ if he would have either sat out or hadnt been injured in the first place the pats would never have won..... look at how the Eagles did during the play offs.......

im gonna dis a QB if he proves to me that he cant win a super bowl and throws INTS, poop the fact is pats are not going anywere this year eagles are not going anywere this year look at the teams whos QB'S are not stupid and dont suck, who would think plummer would be so good in denver and he's thrown no INTS this year, or the bears atop the NFC north.

- 1st, u never know if a team will be good or bad next season- my proof, look at cincinatti(bengles, just telling u just incase u dont know what team) they were 8-8. now- 7-2. Next- Pats QB suck? Tom brady is playing behind 2 rookies and 2 free agents and still averaging 250 yards/game(yards per game) with a higher rating then jake plummer who u say dont have any ints, which he does -3. 3 facts u have WAY wrong... i arrest my case

It cracks me up when I see you Gaints fans talkin about "blowing" it against the Vikes. Vikes whooped em strait up by taking Plaxico Burress outta the game, disrupting Manning's timing and OWNING the Giants in Special Teams. My Vikes will cause problems for quite a few other teams this year before the season ends.

Yes Carolina has a tougher road through its division, but they are also a much better team. Seattle lives or dies based on Shaun Alexander. Granted he's having a great year, but there are no defenses in that SAD sack NFC West that's going to stop him. If Seattle makes the playoffs they'll be facing some of the stiffest defenses in the league. Chicago and Carolina lead the pack, and Atlanta and Dallas are pretty good too.

Carolina has a dominant running game AND the best receiver in the league in Steve Smith. Plus their defense can also win games for them. They are a much more complete team, and I much more experienced team. Remember they came within 3 points of prematurly ending the Pats dynasty.

Quite possibly one of the top 10 because of his Olympic speed... I don't think he's THE best. But then I've been quite out of touch this season and I'm probably spewing nonsense.

first time disagreeing with u aracos but i dont think steve smith isnt the best receiver in the league, reason being- Torry holt of the rams- Yes he had a bad game last week against seattle, especially the play- he was wide open and got a pass RIGHt over his shoulder and didnt catch it- thats becuz he was returning from a injury and wasnt fully 100% (my opinion) Steve smith is truly top 5 though
